Broken Family
THE NEED OF THE HOUR IS MORE FAMILY STABILITY, LOVE & ATTENTION FORM THE PARENTS, EVEN AFTER THE PARENTS SEPERATE.............
The ratio of new marriages to divorces is 2 to 1 (Marriages and Divorces). Total Marriages showed a sharp drop in 1998 and after a brief rebound, continued to trend down. Marital Status for Females 15 and over (1950 - 2009) shows that the population of unmarried women will soon surpass the number of married women. This indicates a rejection of the Divine Institution of Marriage by the population. The number of Unmarried Couple Households (liveins) is increasing steadily. *Note, due to changes in data collection methods for cohabitation, this chart was produced by merging data for children under 18 with children under 15 in 2007-2009 in order to show the long term trend. This accounts for the higher numbers in 2007-2009. Where are the children living (with one or two parents) due to divorce? Children living with only one parent has increased from 9% in 1960 to 27% in 2009. Of those 87% of the children live with the mother. This is creating a society of bastards.
