NO.193 VOL. C I X BROMSHIRE CNT. APRIL 6 1930 SINCE 1569

MERCY PLEA TO HITLER: GANDHI

Mahatma Gandhi, the renowned spiritual and striving leader from India surprised the world in a very outlandish fashion, yet unmistakable way by writing a letter to the brute-of-the-world Hitler, sending him a plea of mercy on behalf of the mankind and humanity. This was the first of such instances, when a person of the eminence of Mr.Gandhi, has approached Hitler with a request which is thought too high to be yielded.

The crown has always exhibited a very unmistakable and honorary gesture towards Mr.Gandhi in the past and so does it in the very present, with his intermittent visits to Britain. His views and opinions are respected in every nook and cranny of London and his association with the Royal Vegetarian Society has also sought disgorged and heartfelt admiration from many in Great Britain. Many in Britain and in the Westerner societies are in support of his cause and are seconding his mission for a free and independent India from the custodian-ship of the crown. It can also be further illustrated with an honorary invitation to Mr.Gandhi, which has been extended to him and also his contingent by H.M King George V,the head of the crown and commonwealth of British dominions. The visit is seen as a welcome note by many in India and as a progressive and propitious sign which could win them their casue,as per them. But the sudden unfolding of events might seem to digress the agenda and could possibly end up in a lost battle and disarray for the home soil fighters of India. There are no immediate reactions from the royal house of H.G Buckingham Palace.
