MEMORANDUM FOR SECRETARY OF THE ARMY
SUBJECT: Employment Guidance for the Distt of Columbia Netional Guard
‘This memorandum responds to your January 4, 2021 memorandum regarding the Distct
of Columbia request for Distt of Columbia National Guand (DCNG) support in response to,
planned demonsirations from January $-6,2021. You er authorized to approve the requested
Support, subject to my guidance below and subject to consultation with the Atorcy General,
required by Executive Onder 11485

personnel will be clearly marked and/or distinguished from civilian law enforcement personnel
and you will noify me immediatly upon your eathoriztion
