The Correlation between Anxiousness and Aggressiveness toward Karate Self-Defense Sport Achievement on Male Kumite Athletes (the Study of Correlation on Kumite Athletes in National Champion among Students of Sebelas Maret Cup VII Surakarta). Sport achievement of karate is not separated from physical factor, technique and tactic, and also influenced with psychological factor. Anxiousness often appears when the athlete will compete. Thus, the anxiousness control is able to contribute the achieved champion. Aggressiveness is also psychological factor that has role to get champion during competition. This research will analyze how direct correlation between anxiousness level and aggressiveness level between Anxiousness and aggressiveness toward karate self-defense sport achievement on male kumite athlete. Besides, it will analyze indirect correlation between Anxiousness level toward karate self-defense sport achievement on male kumite athlete through aggressiveness level. The subjects of research are kumite athletes in National Champion among students of Sebelas Maret Cup VII Surakarta that amount 103 respondents. The variables of research are anxiousness, aggressiveness and achievement, by using the measurements, i.e. questionnaire and documentation of total achievements achieved by each athlete. The gained data will be analyzed by using path analysis with SPSS 12.00 and its standard deviation 5%. The result of research shows that an anxiousness level is directly correlated with karate self-defense sport achievement on male kumite athletes. The higher level of anxiousness will make lower achievement that is achieved. The level of aggressiveness is directly connected with karate self-defense sport achievement on male kumite athletes. The higher level of athletes aggressiveness will upgrade the achievement that is achieved. The anxiousness level is also indirectly related to karate self-defense sport achievement on male kumite athlete through aggressiveness level. The higher level of athletes anxiousness will make lower their aggressiveness and achievement.
