1. Objective: This SOP gives detailed outline for washing of utensils at washing area.

2. Scope: This SOP is to be followed for cleaning of utensils and other washable paratuses to prevent the cross contamination. 3. Responsibilities: i. Production Supervisor ii. Operator/Helper 4. Procedure: i. Clean the utensils first with tap water and wipe the whole utensil with duster. ii. Now wash with lemon max (detergent) solution (5% v/v). iii. Again wash with tap water until there are no traces of material and detergent left. iv. Finally Rinse with purified water. v. Dry them with compressed air or with clean dry lint free duster. vi. After cleaning, shift these utensils to their specific areas or place them in the rack and label them To be cleaned before use. vii. Every equipment and utensil will be washed within 10 working hours after usage. 5. Distribution list: Production manager, controlled copy to Q.A. 6.
