February 1, 2008 Ahmed Zainah 45 Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, 47000 Selangor, Malaysia Mrs Janet Lee Director of Human Resources NextGen Sdn Bhd Menara Healthcare Jalan Ampang 50200 Kuala Lumpur Dear Mrs Lee APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF MANAGEMENT TRAINEE In reading NextGens homepage recently, I noticed vacancies for Management Trainee. This sparked my interest as I am looking for opportunities to work in this fast growing industry. Allow me to briefly introduce myself. In 2007, I graduated from Northwestern University in the United States with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. During my studies, I maintained a 3.5 GPA, and was on the Deans List during my Junior and Senior years. During the summer of my Junior year, I worked as a Marketing Executive with an American healthcare company called HealthMed. The job responsibilities included handling customer queries, promoting the companys products at the 2006 USA Health Fair. And writing simple copy for direct mailers. Back home in Malaysia for the summer holidays last year, I worked as a Customer Service Executive for Global Pharmacy Products Sdn Bhd in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The company is a leader in the health foods and supplements industry. Both companies helped me develop skills in copywriting, public relations and event planning. Attached is my resume which provides more detailed information about my studies and work experience. Also attached are recommendations from my lecturers, as well as the Human Resource Managers of HealthMed and Global Pharmacy Products. Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely Ahmed Zainah (Source: www.graduan.com.my)
