TUCSON POLICE DEPARTMENT ON FACEBOOK

The Tucson Police Department is proud to announce that we have flipped the switch on our official public Facebook page, and it is now in service. The page was developed specifically to enhance our ability to communicate directly with the public, providing nearly immediate release of the most accurate and up-to-date information possible, without filters. This page will be used for the communication of information related to major events, significant investigations, Departmental news, and messages to the public from Chief Roberto Villaseor. We anticipate that the page will continue to evolve from its current form as feedback is received and as we discover new and additional ways to leverage the unique qualities of social media. In conjunction with our recently enhanced website, the Facebook page is the latest effort in our ongoing commitment to provide excellent service to the community.
