Message from the office...

There are always mixed emotions when the end of a school year approaches, and this is especially true this year as it marks a new milestone of transition for our students. In just a few days, they will bid farewell to their beloved F.M. Heard and Captain Michael VandenBos Public Schools; leaving with their heads and hearts full of special memories and experiences from their years as pupils at these two wonderful schools. Both school communities have given our students a wide range of unique and enriching learning experiences, and next year a new adventure will begin for students, staff and parents! These are exciting times for our school community and together we will work to facilitate a smooth transition for all. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to all staff members and parents who have prepared our students and community for the changes ahead. A brand new building awaits us, and together we will create its culture, a culture of collaboration and teamwork. For now, let's enjoy the summer weather and break from routine.

However, the other areas surrounding the building will be out of bound for the entire school year as new sod will have to be put down!
