    via e-mail July 13, 2011 TO: Records Custodian Truth or Consequences City Clerk New Mexico State Land Office Federal Aviation Administration (via FOIA) FROM: Kim Audette & Sophia Peron 618 Van Patten 316 North Joffre Alley 575-740-1988 575-894-0528 Truth or Consequences, New Mexico 87901 We would like to inspect and/or copy the following documents: Official record of the Act of Congress required under federal law to cancel a land lease (BL 1615) between the New Mexico State Land Office (SLO) and the City of Truth or Consequences' (City) airport, specifically the NE corner of Section 32, Township 12 South Range 4 West. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) controls all airport land transactions; they require an Act of Congress to cancel lease BL 1615 for Land Patent #4350 to be issued. In a letter to the City dated March 28, 2011, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) cited the violation of federal law, Sec 16, USC 47125. If the record does not exist then please say that it does not exist. If your agency does not maintain these public records, please let me know who does, and include the proper custodians name and address. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
