Wilbur Wright, Inventor dies of typhoid fever. He is survived by his brother, Orville, and sister, Katherine. He was 45 years old. Born in Dayton, Ohio, he and his brother ended up in the Outer Banks of North Carolina to pursue their invention. His life was full of adventure and the invention of the airplane is his claim to fame. His brother Orville continues their work in his memory. He recounts their journey from tinkerers, to business owners, to inventors with mixed emotions, too many to mention. He will be missed.
