1. Equal / Non Equal (Sama atau tidak sama dengan) Pattern Subject + (to be / verb) + as/so .... as + subject + complement Example a. She is as tall as you b. We are not so smart as Andy c. We are as stupid as they are Note : apabila perbandingan tidak sama diberi tambahan not setelah to be. 2. Comparative (lebih) Pattern Subject + (to be / verb) + ([more + adj.]/[adj.+ er]) + than Example a. She is taller than you b. We are not smarter than Andy c. We are more stupid than they are Note : apabila adjective (kata sifat) terdiri dari satu atau dua kata, maka adjective diberi akhiran er. Apabila lebih dari 2 suku kata maka menggunakan more sebelum adjective. 3. Superlative (Paling) Pattern Subject + (to be/verb) + ([most + adj.]/[adj.+ est]) + preposition in group Example a. She is the tallest woman in the class b. We are not the smartest group in the school c. We are the most stupid boy in the class
