What makes a successful youth ministry?

Security in the love of God (identity) Worship Know Gods love and inspired to share it Be the kind of people the Bible says we are meant to be Actively sharing Gods love 1. Sustainable small group structure 2. Broken with God and each other (surrender, intimacy) 3. Love God & people 4. Excitement about God & hence, bringing friends 5. Commitment 6. Joyful spirit thats contagious 7. Vibrant community, life-transforming r/s, live daily as disciples who serve with love, nurture spirit-filled purpose-filled lives 8. Grow up to be spirit-filled mature adults 20 years later, living Gods Word now 9. Discipleship 10. Mentoring & passion w/ help from Holy Spirit + encounter 11. Personal encounter & closer walk with God, mentoring 12. Making a difference in schools (spontaneous fellowship) 13. Vibrancy & excitement every week Go to the core, not quick-fix solutions Seeking the LORD in individual contexts Constant reflection 3 pictures of YM Young person discipling young person Dad walking alongside child (parents involvement) Young people serving, inter-woven in the larger body of Christ Do we live it?
