Getting There
Travel by Land : Bus Bataan Transit and Genesis Liner ply the Manila-Bataan route while the Victory Liner services the OlongapoBataan route. To travel directly to Petron Bataan Refinery (PBR), ride a bus plying Mariveles route. PBR is located at Alangan Limay, Bataan, the town before Mariveles. An array of mini-buses, jeepneys, and tricycles fill the gaps in the inter-municipal road with Balanga City as the Terminal point. Approximately 3 hours travel time from Manila to PBR. Travel by Land: Car Option 1: Via San Fernando From NLEX, take San Fernando (Exit 65). Go straight along Olongapo-Gapan Road until the Layac Junction at Dinalupihan, Bataan (Landmark: the Fall of Bataan monument). From Layac Junction go straight along Roman Superhighway passing through Hermosa, Samal, Orani, Abucay, Balanga City, Pilar, Orion and Limay. PBR is approximately 35 kms. away from Layac Junction. Option 2: Via SCTEX To get to the Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX) from NLEX, go straight through the Dau Exit (Exit 83) and a few meters away you will see the SCTEX exit (Exit 85). It takes about 30 minutes to reach Bataan via Dinalupihan Exit. Turn right to Palihan, Hermosa Bataan going to Roman Superhighway. Travel by Sea Via Supercat ferry boat from SM Mall of Asia in Roxas Blvd, Manila to the Diosdado Macapagal Ferry Terminal in Orion. Approximately 1 hour travel time. From there, ride a tricycle and then mini-bus or jeepney going to PBR. Travel time < 10 mins.
