    Activity session subject : Transportation Vocabulary: Transportation: a fire truck, a police car, an ambulance, a taxi, a truck, a motorcycle, a bus, a train, a bike, an airplane, a helicopter, a tank, a boat, a submarine, a rocket, a UFO, a jeep, a sports car, a van Activities / songs / games: Colouring in of transportation pictures and writing practice Making the how do you come to school poster Play a game using a dice with some of the vocabulary words on it. i.e. Where are you going? Roll dice. I am going to the classroom. Continue review in activity of the grammar Where are you going? and I am going We will also do finger painting for our mothers day cards.

    Phonics Continue practicing recognising first and last sounds in words. We will be doing worksheets that distinguish between beginning and end sounds as well as general writing practice.

    Review This week we will be focusing on the mothers day show and will spend most of our review time practicing the show

    Notes / parent follow up: This week talk to your child about the different types of transportation. Ask them to tell you all the different types of transportation they can see when you are in the car or on the bike. Whats that?, Look theres a big truck. We go to school by car. Can you see the train?
