Senator Kearney and City Council Candidate Hold Joint Press Conference to Empower the Community
WHAT: The Empowering the Community Press Conference will call attention to Senate Bill 49. The legislation will prohibit the Ohio Division of Liquor Control from issuing, or transferring the ownership of a retail liquor permit to an owner if the existing facility is near a childcare or nursing home facility. Current law already specifies that liquor stores cannot be near schools, churches, libraries, public playgrounds, and hospitals. WHO: State Senator Eric H.
