On the other hand, a leader has to relinquish imperious control over subordinates to have followers as to lead is to have follower while following is a volitional act. Leaders use their charismatic skills to motivate others to follow them and their followers would sacrifice their time and energy just to follow them (Leadership vs. Management n.d.).

4.2 Point of view towards risk and chances Besides that, managers would be loath to risk chances and would stay on the safe side to prevent conflict as well as troubles as they are paid by the company to accomplish work. They may get fired or deduction of salary at any cost.

Whereas leaders are more risk-favorable compare to managers and contemplate pathway that others dodge as possible chances. Leaders are daring to face obstacles along the way to reach their vision (Leadership vs. Management n.d.).

A leader embarks positive changes in the company in a way of setting new vision or method of achieving the optimum productivity while a managers role is to fit into the changes and preserve the state of affair until new changes occurs (Nielson 25th February 2008).
