    Approval of a one-year, interim principalship for Bel Air Elementary was presented at a special meeting of the Norfolk Public Schools Board of Education today. The search for this position was focused on finding a principal who could step in and maintain the quality of education and building improvement goals because of their experience and background in the principalship; allowing this person to begin on August 1st. Norfolk Public Schools is pleased to announce that Beata Be Rudloff will be the Interim Principal at Bel Air Elementary School. Be has served as elementary principal at Creighton, Nebraska for 16 years to the end of 2009. She left her position due to family job relocation. She is currently working as an adjunct faculty member at Wayne State College. Her undergraduate degree is in elementary education and her masters is in elementary administration. Be has expertise in reading and has also implemented APL instructional strategies in her previous district. Creighton Elementary was named as a nation Blue Ribbon School under her leadership in 2003.
