ADMISSION TO FIRST YEAR OF FOUR YEAR DEGREE COURSES IN ENGINEERING/TECHNOLOGY FOR THE YEAR 2011-12. This Notification is being issued for selection of candidates to be admitted in the following Engineering/Technology institutions for the Academic Year 2011-12: A. State Government/Aided Colleges, University Managed Institutes, University Departments [Except in five Autonomous Engineering Institutes viz. VJTI, Mumbai; SPCE, Mumbai; COE Pune; SGGS IE&T, Nanded and WCE, Sangli ] B. Such Unaided colleges and/or such number of seats from unaided colleges which by mutual consent have decided to form part of this admission process. Eligible Candidates : All the Maharashtra, All India and J & K Migrant candidates whose names are appeared in respective final merit of Centralised Admission Process (CAP) displayed by this Directorate. The separate Online Option Form for Centralized Admission Process (CAP) for State Government/Aided Colleges, University Managed Institutes, University Departments and such unaided colleges and/or such number of seats from unaided colleges which by mutual consent have decided to form part of this admission process is being made available to only those eligible candidates, who are desirous of seeking admission to the aforesaid colleges through this Centralised Admission Process on the official websites viz. www.dte.org.in/fe2011. Aspiring candidates are required to fill in the Online Option Form, take the printout of the Online Option Form and Confirm the Online Option form in person along with duly signed printout of the Online Option form at any of the Application Form Receipt Center (ARC) notified by this Directorate as per schedule notified herewith. Option form received by post at ARC/DTE office will be rejected and no communication will be done with the candidate. Rules of Reporting for CAP: Refer Annexure-I for details about the eligibility for respective CAP Rounds and Rules of Reporting. Note: 1. It is MANDATORY for all eligible aspiring Maharashtra State, AIEEE-2011 (Paper-1) qualified candidates to submit and confirm Online Option Form. 2. Maharashtra State Candidates applying for Maharashtra and All India Seats (AIEEE) are required to submit and confirm only Single Online Option Form 3. Maharashtra State Candidate applying for Centralised Admission Process for Autonomous Institutes (CAPAI) and Centralised Admission Process of other colleges (CAP) are required to submit and confirm separate option form for CAPAI and CAP. 4. If the candidate fails to confirm the online filled option form, then such online filled option will be rejected and name of such candidate will not appear in the allotment list. 5. Maharashtra State, AIEEE-2011 (Paper-1) qualified candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- in cash as processing fee for each CAP and CAPAI Rounds.

Institute Information: The updated Institute Information, course wise sanctioned intake, choice codes, TFWS Seats, etc will be published on the web site. Candidates should read Information Brochure carefully and follow the instructions set out therein for further course of selection and admission. Kindly note that noncompliance with any of the provisions set out in the Information Brochure will result in rejection of claim for admission. Note : 1. ARCs will remain open on all days of schedule (including holidays) between 11 AM to 5 PM 2. All institutes will remain open from 11AM to 5PM on all days of reporting. 3. It is Mandatory for the candidate (except J&K Migrant) to confirm the Online Option form at ARC and get the Receipt-cum-Acknowledgement duly signed by ARC, failing which the candidate will not be considered for allotment. 4. Candidates are required to carry Receipt-cum-Acknowledgement of the application form at time of confirmation of option form. 5. Candidates are required to remain personally present at the time of confirmation of option form. 6. The schedule displayed above is provisional and may change under unavoidable circumstances.
