ROOF DRAIN

Roofing drains are designed to remove water from roof system. The proper placements of drains
are critical to their performance. Roofing drains on low-sloped roof systems should be sumped or
lowered more than the roof system itself to draw water into the drain and off the roof system.
Roof drains should have a device or net that prevents debris from entering the drain and will end
up clogging it in the future.
