80th Assembly District 1126 Pelham Parkway South Bronx, NY 10461 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - 6th Annual Summer Event Series featuring FREE Movies on the Green & FREE Family Concerts Bronx, New York July 28, 2011 - This summer Assemblywoman Naomi Rivera will be hosting her Sixth Annual Free Summer Event Series. These events, which enjoy widespread community support, will include outdoor movie showings, concerts, and cultural festivals. The series starts on Tuesday, August 2 with the annual National Night Out anti-crime collaboration, and will continue into early September. These events will be held in various locations throughout New Yorks 80th assembly district in the Bronx. Following tradition and popular demand, Assemblywoman Rivera will continue with the Movies on the Green Series. This year the movie series includes Twilight Saga: Eclipse, How to Train Your Dragon, Toy Story 3, and Tron: Legacy. The concert series includes the Doo Wop Concert featuring RB express, a traditional Klezmer concert featuring the Ken Gross Klezmer Duo, and , and a Motown Concert featuring Alive-N-Kickin. In addition, the Assemblywoman will continue to host the Allerton Street Festival and will play an active role in the Tuesday, August 2 National Night Out crime and drug prevention outreach.
