POSITION: Trainer DUTY STATION: Rabat, Morocco OPEN TO: All interested candidates DATE OF ENTRY ON DUTY: September 2011 SALARY LEVEL: Salary starting from 191,285.00 MAD gross/ 146,284.52 net of CIMR, CNSS, Health Insurance, Disability Insurance, Work Accident and Life Insurance and Taxes.

Position Summary: The Trainer works closely with the Director of Programming and Training, Training Manager and program managers to design, coordinate, and implement all Peace Corps Morocco training events. S/he develops integrated learning activities which provides Peace Corps Trainees and Peace Corps Volunteers with the skills, knowledge, and attitudes necessary to integrate their community of assignment and work safely and effectively in Morocco. S/he works with all staff to provide quality training. S/he provides professional guidance, ensures quality of training content and presentation, assesses and documents the training outcomes, and motivates and maintains open communication to improve the monitoring and evaluation of training throughout PCVs service. Peace Corps Morocco is moving into a focus on Youth Development and the trainer must have a strong interest in Youth Development. Job Description includes but is not limited to: Reviews list of trainees/ Volunteers participating in a training event and gets familiar with their education background, learning style, areas of experience, on-going projects, work reports and any other pertinent information Outlines schedules and sessions plans for each training event Reviews and refines competencies and learning objective for each training event Facilitates training sessions and activities at the training hubs and homestay sites Designs and updates all training curriculum Identifies, creates and/or adapts training materials suitable for Peace Corps Moroccos program, for training events and on-going learning activities Based on the competencies and learning objectives set up for the program, develops the content and presentation of sessions for the training continuum: Pre-Service Training, Post PST, In-Service Training (IST), Regional ISTs, Close of Service conference and other occasional training events Prepares and submits weekly evaluations and a final report and all documentation after the completion of any training event Visits sites to assess training effectiveness and support Volunteers continuous learning
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED AND PROVEN EXPERIENCE IN THE FOLLOWING:

Five years teaching or training experience At least two years experience working cross-culturally Developing skill-based session plans Developing and supporting teamwork English and Arabic fluency (Berber would be a plus) Masters degree preferred Strong Interest in Youth Development
