    The Parkway West Girls Cross Country team competed in the Paul Enke Invitational at Sioux Passage County Park on September 20th, 2008. The weather was overcast and cooler than the previous week with some light rain. Junior Varsity runners Erin Melton and Megan Nilson finished with times of 29:08 and 29:40 respectively. Their team scored a total of 103 points. Coach Cutelli praised the runners for their individual efforts and predicted faster times on a flatter course the following week with more teammates.

    DIVISION—Varsity (5K), Junior Varsity (5K), Freshmen/Sophomore
    DATE—September 20th, 2008
    WEATHER—Overcast, cooler than last week, with occasional rain drops. The course was damp in areas.

    I think I can, I think I can. You two did great. I know it was challenging since you did not have a full team
    with you. This did not faze you. You tackled the course well. Both of you broke the 30 minute barrier.
    Next weeks course will be flat and I think you will have a few more teammates to run with.
