saovaa maoM ]payau@t, kond`Iya ]%pad Saulk evama saovaa kr maNDla, saMga$r. mahaodya, ivaYaya, Clearance of imported goods claiming concessional rate of duty under the Customs (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty for Manufacture of Excisable Goods) Rules, 1996 regarding. ----------Please refer to your letter C.No.IV(16)30/Misc/Tech/SNG/ 05/2010/6064 dated 14.06.2011 sending thereunder copy of letter F.No.S/2010/Misc/CPO/Gr.I/2011-12/849 dated 02.06.2011 of Assistant Commissioner (Gr.1), Office of the Commissioner of Customs, Customs House, Kandla, Kutch, Gujarat on the above cited subject. In this regard it is submitted only one unit namely; M/s Sangrur Agro Limited mentioned in letter F.No.S/20-10/Misc/CPO/Gr.I/2011-12/849 dated 02.06.2011 of Assistant Commissioner (Gr.1), Office of the Commissioner of Customs, Customs House, Kandla, Kutch, Gujarat is registered with this office under Customs (Import of Goods at Concessional Rate of Duty for Manufacture of Excisable Goods) Rules, 1996 vide Registration Certificate No.1/Import/SGN/2000 issued vide F.No.IV(16)30/5/S.Agro/2000 dated 20.01.2000. M/s Sangrur Agro Limited is following the procedure as per above mentioned Rules and no discrepancy has been noticed. So far as the applications with regard to estimated quantity and value for a quarter in terms of Rule 4 of the above mentioned Rules is concerned, the party has been advised in this regard to follow the procedure. It is further submitted that the party is required to file monthly return in the format prescribed as Annexure with the Assistant Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner by the tenth day of following month in terms of Rule 7 of the above said Rules, this aspect may please be verified from the Divisional Office.
