I stumbled across a faery brood, Inhabited with women light of foot.

Young maidens fair, of ethereal looks, And voices to match the heavenly seraphim. They called my name, So quiet yet loud. And reached their dainty hands, Towards my beating heart. They glided quick, Their feet off ground. Their wings aflutter in the faery wind. They crooned again, my name, A sigh on their rose-tinted lips. They floated to a still, Just in front of my clear blue eyes. One had a hand slightly raised, A finger pointed at my chest. One step I took into her embrace, While others hummed haunted melody. "Come with me" she whispered in hush. Her fingers spread over cold skin that Lined my flesh. A shiver ran down arctic spine, But warmed when light breath Sighed across my neck. She led me slow, Across billowing meads. Her hair a tangle of leaves and dew. Her fingers laced mine, Entrapping my hand. Oh rainbows that tint the faery sky, Shadow me and maiden fair From misery and imminent despair. The trees that bow when we pass, Hail to the maiden as she pulls My soul to her grot. She lived in hollow hill is all, A humble abode not near too rich. The flowers were lavender, The door of pine. The kitchen sat an agar, And a flagon of wine. She whispered again, "My love come near", And I sat down on a chair. I pulled her quick, heart beat faster. Her arms wrapped round me, My lips to her neck. She sighed a heavenly faery sigh, That took hostage my soul. My eyes spun purple, My ears heard drumming

As my maiden pulled me close. Her skin shone palely under my lips, A river of moon and light. Her liquid breath flowed through my heart, And threatened to take flight. My heart in surrender, My soul as prisoner. This maiden fair kept me still, Her moan kept me bound. My fingers quivered, My lips became cracked. But my voice remained strong. "Oh fair maiden sat with powers untold, My soul and heart kept in your thrall. Release me now, Release me quick. Set golden eyes into mine blue, And tell me your love is true"
