ABSTRACT

The main objective of the project is to study about the Tansformer and its protection equipment in Thermal power station . The transformer is main equipment in electrical power system .Transformer plays a major role in transmitting and distributing electrical power , so it is to be protected from the failures to reduce damage to the power system .That is why I done my mini project on TRANSFORMER AND ITS EQIPMENT PROTECTION.

Various types of transformers and different types of protection schemes are listed. And also various methods of electrical and mechanical protection schemes are discussed.
