Justification of choice : uMobile telecommunication company is selected because of the cheap charging rates offered. This company provides 3 different types of monthly post-paid plan U38, U68 and U98. Based on the information given on their different packages, I would opt for the U68 plan. The reason is because this plan offers a reasonable and sensible call rate for moderate mobile phone users. As we can see from the above table, this plan offers a flat rate to all carriers, which only cost 12 cents per minute. The following calculation will show the exact amount a customer needs to pay if he were make 20 hours of phone call per month using this plan : Charges : 1 minute = 12 cents 60 minute = RM 7.20 1200 minute = RM 144.00 A customer is supposed to pay RM144.00 for 20 hours of phone calls, however by using this plan the customer will only have to pay RM 68.00 to enjoy a 12 cents call rate to all operators and a minimum of 5 cents to use its SMS. Therefore, U68 is chosen.
