    Use permeable paving which allows rainwater to drain through your driveway into the ground below - NO PLANNING PERMISSION REQUIRED
    Your installer will prepare a suitable*, permeable driveway sub-base, which allows water to travel between the blocks into the ground. To find an installer who has been trained to install Marshalls permeable driveways visit the find an Installer section of the Marshalls website. Simply search for Marshalls Register Installers in your postcode area. Those who have been trained to install permeable driveways have a symbol next to their name.

    OptiOn

    Do not make any provision for the rain water that falls on your driveway. PLANNING PERMISSION IS REQUIRED
    This is the least sustainable option and may contribute towards a build up of rainwater on your property during times of heavy rain. However, if you choose to go down this route and your Local Authority grants you Planning Permission you can use any Marshalls impermeable concrete block paving.
