Linksys Configuration
1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10. 11. Power on the Linksys and connect the phone instrument to Line1 or Line2. Dial **** to go to Main Menu. To disable DHCP Press 101# 0# (Here # key works like Enter key on our PC) To check whether DHCP disabled or not press 100# It will say Disabled To assign IP Address press 111# <IP Address> # 1 ( 1 is to save the settings ) E.g. 111# 172*19*52.*158# 1 where star key acts as a dot. To check whether the IP address entered is correct or not press 110# & listen the message. To assign Subnet Mask press 121# <Subnet Mask> # 1 E. g. 121# 255*255*255*224 # 1 To check whether Subnet Mask entered is correct or not press 120# & listen the message. To assign Default Gateway press 131# <Default Gateway> # 1 E.g. 131# 172*19*52*129*1 # 1 To check whether Default Gateway entered is correct or not press 130# & listen the message. After doing the above mentioned settings, connect the LAN cable to LinkSys. Open Internet Explorer in one IWay PC and type the IP Address in Address Bar and press enter to go to the Web-based Utility. E.g. In this case http://172.19.52.158 Do the rest configuration as mentioned below in the snaps.
