Statement of the Problem:

This study sought to answer the following questions: y Can yellow oleander fruit extract be used as an insecticide against rice bugs? y Is there a significant difference in the effect of different concentrations of Yellow Oleander Fruit Extract, and varying the mortality rate (in minute) on the percent mortality mean of rice bugs?

Null:

Scope and Limitation:

Our study will determine whether Yellow Oleander have an effect to rice bugs. We will researching this study as soon as possible. Our study will also gather pertinent data. Like other studies we also have our limitation, we are only limited in Cagayan De Oro City.

Significance of the Study

This study aims to find out if Yellow Oleander can be used as insecticide against the rice bugs . Specifically , it aims to determine if there is significant difference in the effect of different concentrations of Yellow Oleander fruit extract, and varying the mortality rate(in minute ) on the percent mortality mean of rice bugs. The researchers also want to help our farmers to avoid losing percentage of rice because of rice bugs infestation so that we will not experience rice shortage.
