    Central University of Karnataka is looking to hire teaching faculty on a contractual basis for subjects like Commerce, Psychology, Social Work, Economics and English at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Applicants must have a minimum of a postgraduate degree with 55% marks or equivalent grade as per UGC guidelines and NET/SET/SLET qualifications. Those with a PhD in the relevant subject will also be considered if no NET qualified candidates are available. Retired teachers below age 70 can also apply.     The University is looking for Teaching faculty with a proven track record of excellence in teaching and research and having a minimum qualification of Post-Graduation with 55% marks or equivalent grade as per UGC seven point scale plus NET/SET/SLET for engagement as Contractual faculty for teaching Commerce, Psychology, Social Work, Economics and English subjects at UG/PG Level. In case of nonavailability of NET/SET/SLET qualified candidates, persons possessing Ph.D. in the relevant subject will be considered. Retired teachers below 70 years may also apply. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualification and experience.
