Bonnie and Clyde actress faces being evicted from her rent-stabilized walk-up in a suit filed on Tuesday. By Kareem Johnson DNAinfo Reporter/Producer MANHATTAN Faye Dunaway has a new starring role in Manhattan Housing Court. In a suit filed on Tuesday, the landlord of the East 78th Street one bedroom walkup that Dunaway pays a rent-stabilized $1,048.72 a month is claiming that her permanent residence is in West Hollywood, California, the New York Times reported. Liam Dunaway, the actresses son has also been named in the suit. Under rent-stabilization rules, the apartment must be the primary residence. Dunaways neighbors told the Times that they had not seen the 70-year-old actress. Dunaway first rented the fourth-floor Upper East Side apartment in April 1994. The apartment could average $2,318 a month on the market, the Times found out from Citi Habitats, a brokerage firm. Dunaway is due in Civil Court on August 11th.
