Weekly Orientation Goals New Grads: ICUs Wee k Goals Hours October Orientation: 8 August- 28 Activities

Clinical Day 2
Pt. Assessments for 2-3 patients: Perform a full assessment at beginning of shift, and focused physical assessments q 4 hours. Assessments: Physical Head to Toe Finger sticks Vitals Pain, etc. Documentation: Inet/Iview/forms Core Measures/ Nursing Outcomes IPOCs Quality Measures (Dashboard & IPOCs)

Experiences

Acclimate yourself to the unit and hospital environment Get a feel for the workflow on the unit Begin Complete self-assessment on orientation checklist, present to Preceptor and Educator.
