YOU’RE INVITED TO PARTICIPATE IN AN
EDUCATIONAL FLOAT TRIP ON THE SCENIC MERAMEC, HUZZAH
AND COURTOIS RIVERS.
This is an opportunity to explore the natural history of the area and discover the rich flora and fauna of the Meramec
River Basin with area business leaders, elected officials and conservationists. A diversity of outdoor recreation and
conservation education activities will be presented along the Upper Meramec River float for those who participate.
TRANSPORTATION, CANOE, MAPS, SPECIAL PROGRAMS, T-SHIRTS, FOOD AND
BEVERAGES ARE INCLUDED IN THE REGISTRATION COST.
With special programs by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources on Onondaga State Park and Missouri
Department of Conservation on Conservation Oportunity Areas and the Huzzah Wildlife Area. Featuring Liz Bennett
with the Steelville Chamber of Commerce and Bob Bell, former mayor of Steelville and owner of Wildwood Springs.
