Some people like to travel with a companion. Other people prefer to travel alone . Which do you prefer?

Use specific reasons and examples to support your choice. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I prefer to travel with a companion. However it depends upon individual s choice whe ther travel solo or with companion. In this essay I will elaborate merits and de merits of either of the modus-operandi. Merits of traveling solo are: that one can meet and interact with more people. G o where and when one wants to go. One can go with whomever he or she wants to go . This allows one to find his or her travel techniques. One is independent. Demerits of solo travel are: Traveling alone can be intimidating. One must overc ome any shyness he or she has in order to meet other people. One may have to tak e decision boldly where, when and how to go and for what duration. And once the person is at a new destination, what shall be the further course of his or her a ction. This requires great effort than letting someone else make all or most of the decisions. Merits of traveling with companion are: One always has someone to talk to/consul t with. One can share food, clothing, toiletries, accommodations, etc. thereby s aving room in your pack and sometimes money. One will have someone to share his or her memories and photography. One may forge lifelong friendship with the trav el companion. Demerits of traveling with a companion are: Being with the same person 365 days can be very annoying. Depending on someone strange can be risky because people c an flake out on you e.g. take all your money, abandon you, etc. Memories of your trip may turn out to be nightmares because of constant fighting over where to g o and what to see etc. In nutshell considering the above, one may decide to travel solo or with a partn er depending upon his or her sweet will.
