In this circuit, there are two Timer 555 integrated circuits that been used.

The function of IC1 is as the alarm tone generator for the speaker output. The function of IC2 is as a 1Hz multivibrator. Both ICs operating in Astable mode. Resistors R1 and R4 was connected to pin-7/discharging pin for each IC respectively. Resistors R2 and R5 connected to pin 6/threshold voltage pin for each Ic to set the flip-flop of the ICs and voltage level whether HIGH or LOW. Resistor R3 used as to drop down voltage for the Transistor T1 that been used to help strengthen the signal to the speaker. The capacitors C1, C2, C3 and C4 used to store charges in the circuit. R7 is to drop down the voltage for the speaker. The speaker used as the output results of the circuit operation. The circuit start with DC source was supplied to the ICs to operate. IC1 start to generate a 1Hz valued frequency. The output of the IC2 is to frequency modulate the IC1. This causes the right timers frequency to alternate between 440Hz and 550Hz at a 1 Hz cyclic rate. As a result, the frequency begin to swing and produces a wavy sound by the speaker.
