How to Sideglide (Moonwalking Sideways) 1.

Start in a standing position with your left foot pointing sideways and your left heel up. 2. Move your right foot to the right and turn it sideways so it s pointing to the right. 3. Put your left heel down and lift your right heel, making sure you shift your body weight towards your right toes. 4. Turn your knees inward towards the center so that your feet are pointing towards each other at a right angle. 5. Move your left foot forward at a 45 degree angle so that it is placed in front of your right foot. (The next two steps are to be done simultaneously.) 6. Turn your knees outward from the center so that your feet form a right angle. 7. Lift your left heel and lower your right heel. 8. Repeat steps 2-7 until you re tired. 9. When you re first starting out, try to practice on a smooth surface, such as a wood or marble floor. 10. Once you ve mastered the basics, try to transition faster, smoother, and without hesitancy. 11. While you do the motions, be sure to constantly shift your body weight to the right to ensure a constant rightward motion. 12. Practice, practice, practice. 13. Once you ve become comfortable with this move, try to lift your feet off the ground a little bit; only let your toes and your left heel touch the floor. This will allow you to glide on the floor better as well as allowing you to perform this move on rough surfaces (concrete, carpet, etc.). 14. Congratulations, you can sideglide. 15. Show off your slidegliding skills to random people.
