Normalview isthedefaultview SlideSorterdisplaysalltheslidesinconsecutiveorderas thumbnails. NotesPageissimilartothenormalviewexcepttheslidesare reducedinsizeandlocatedintheupperportionofthescreen withthelowerportionofthescreenbeingallocatedfor addingnotestotheslide. Slideshowisthepresentationwheretheslidesareenlarged tofittheentirescreen.

AllsortsAnimationEffectscanbeaddedtoyourslides andthebestwaytofindoutwhatworksbestforyour presentationistoplayaroundandexperimentwithall thedifferentoptions. Butfirst,acautionarynote.Manybadpresentations willoverlyrelyonanimations(andotherstylistic effects)tokeeptheaudienceinterested(probably becausethepresentationitselfwaslessthanriveting). Thebestpresentationsaretheonesthateffectively useanimationsasanaidinpresentinginformation, ratherthandistractingfromit.Inshort,agoodruleof thumbtorememberwouldbeLessismore.
