Types of Clickers
IR (Infrared)
The student response pads or clickers are small, handheld devices that are easy for students of any age to use. With eight alphabetical buttons, students can answer multiple-choice questions and navigate through student-managed assessments. RF (Radio Frequency) The RF receiver connects directly to your computers USB port. Student responses can be transmitted from up to 200 feet, and no line of sight between the response pads and receiver is necessary.

Getting Started

1. Use the Internet to go to http://software. 2. Click here to Download the CPS Receiver Driver. Click Run. Click Run. 3. Connect the USB cord to the receiver and to the computer. 4. Open the CPS Software.

Create your Database

1. Create a new Database if necessary. 2. Click on SettingDelivery Options. 3. The Delivery Options dialog box appears. Click on the Receiver tab and Detect CPS Receiver. It will detect your receiver. (NOTE:You should only have to do this at the beginning of the day. No more.)

Create class
Under the Prepare tab y Select Class/Student y Select New Class-name your class. y Highlight your class name y Select add students y Names can be imported from gradespeed. y Please use video for help
