California Regions Project

(40 points total) This project will be done in groups of five and will be mounted in poster format. Each member of the group will be responsible for providing 1 written portion and 1 picture for this poster. Items for the poster Write 1 paragraph describing the climate of your region. What is the weather like? How much rain does it get? etc p. 14-17 Write 1 paragraph: Imagine you are in your region, what would you see? Hear? Smell? Taste? Touch? In paragraph form Write 1 paragraph: What kind of jobs do people have in your region? Why are they special to your region? Are they important? Write 1 paragraph: What kind of plant and animal life kind one find in your region? How do they survive? Write 1 paragraph: What is there to do in your region? What do people do for fun? Draw pictures giving details about this unit. Draw pictures describing your section. Everyone is responsible for at least 1 picture for the poster. Neatness Presentation - Everyone needs to present their part of the poster. Speak in a strong voice and give eye contact to the audience. Information should be on a 3x5 card to read.
