Solar Water Heater System in Canteens
To improve hygiene, washing of plates, vessels and other utensils are being done using hot water generated through solar water heater systems provided in 19,58 and SSTP canteens. The solar water heater systems consists of 50 solar panels and are being used for producing hot water in 19 and 58 canteens. One 8000 litre MS tank supplies water to the solar panels and the heated water is collected through insulated GI pipes and is being used for washing purposes.
