IMPORTANT PUBLIC SAFETY NOTICE

Please find critical public safety information for Summerhill residents related to Hurricane Irene. Township officials expect the bridge area on LeBoutillier Road to flood sometime in the early evening. Police will monitor the water levels and close the road at the appropriate time. The probability of this is sometime before 9:00pm. Mill Road Bridge is expected to flood sometime soon after the LeBoutillier Bridge area floods. Police will monitor the water levels and close the road at the appropriate time. We will keep this access point open as long as possible. Residents on LeBoutillier will be notified by police of the anticipated flooding. Summerhill resident will be notified by email through their HOA. Once both bridges are closed, and with the Mill Road Bridge closed over the PA Turnpike, the Summerhill development will not have public egress or ingress during the flood period. Tredyffrin public works and the Paoli Fire Department have made temporary modifications for emergency egress and ingress for police, fire and ambulance vehicles only. First responders will use the access road that runs parallel to the Turnpike. They will access it through Chesterbrook.
