    1. Applications are invited on prescribed forms for admission to the following PhD degree programs.
    Electrical Engineering Computer Science Computer Engineering Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Engineering Civil Engineering Environmental Engineering Transportation Engineering Chemical Engineering Metallurgical & Materials Engineering Mining Engineering Architecture Architectural Engineering City & Regional Planning Chemistry Physics

    General Eligibility Criteria a) Master Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institute by securing at least 60% marks (under Annual or Term System) or CGPA of 3 on the scale of 4 (under Semester System). b) At least 50% score in GRE (Subject) type test arranged by UET Lahore. The GRE (Subject) type Test will be held on 20-03-2011 in the Seminar Hall of Department of Chemical Engineering, at 10:00 a.m. Application shall be filled online by logging on to http://admission.uet.edu.pk. The printout of the filled application form with the paid bank challan (printed with the application) and completed shall be submitted to the respective departments before 14-03-2011 during working days (Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Mondays to Thursdays 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.). Incomplete applications shall not be entertained. Limited number of scholarships are available @ Rs. 18,000/- per month for full time students registering in Electrical Engg., Computer Engg., Computer Science and Mechatronics & Control Engg.
