Global Trade: Venturing to Asia To be honest, in the past I have visited some other museums in my country Mexico. However, I had not liked any of them as much as I liked the PEM Peabody Essex Museum. The reasons are very simple. The other museums I have visited before were not guided as this one, so in this one there was a person who was explaining us when some pieces of art were made, who made them, and the reasons why they are at Peabody Essex museum, and how those pieces were acquired. In addition, in PEM there were two things I really liked. First of all, I liked the model friendship, that was the first ship made in Salem state for trading purposes, because in this way I could know how people from new England started being in contact with people from Asia, affecting in that way not only the culture but also the language itself. The second thing I also liked was the piece of art called Carved Elephant. I love it since I was really impressed how the artist or sculpture was able to work in such an incredible way. Furthermore, I also liked the way the guide did her job. I liked the way she explained us everything about some pieces of art. The other thing I also liked about her was how she managed her speech and how clearly she spoke in order to be understood.

Finally, regarding to the lobby area that tries to look like a ship I did not liked it at all. The piece of art that there are in PEM are just awesome, though.
