Phonics We will continue to review the sounds, actions and songs for s a t p i n c/k e h r m d g o u l f b j z wand continue to introduce v/y/x. We will be doing activities in class to pair jolly phonics with written letters. New sight words for this week include: me, no, go, up. We will also be practicing to write the letter f.

Review This week we will continue to review: shapes, colours and classroom objects.

Notes / parent follow up: A great way to practice the vocabulary for transportation is to ask your child to identify different modes of transportation when travelling around town. For example, if you are driving your child to school ask them what they can see from the window. What is it? Reply: It is a bus, It is a car.
