Introduction
y Dakshin Maharashtra Shikshan Mandal was started in the year 1969. It was founded by a group of enthusiastic social workers under the guidance of Late Shri. Dajiba Desai, a former MP and eminent political leader from Maharashtra. y From the academic year 2007-08 the college is permitted to start bachelor of Business Administration Course. The BBA course is affiliated to Karnataka University Dharwad and recognized by the Govt. of Karnataka. It is a three year undergraduate course spread over six semesters. The maximum intake in the college is 100 candidates.

Objectives
y It is also designed to help graduates to start their own

ventures or be business consultants and not to be dependent on jobs. y The BBA course is spread over six semesters over a period of three years. y The graduates are prepared to pursue post-graduation course like MBA, MCA, M.com, etc, and other professions like Chartered Accountant, Certified Financial Analysts, Company Secretaries and Cost &, Works Accountants.

Vision
y Almost in every place where there is full-fledged

primary school, it proposes to provide special attention to the cause of women s emancipation through education. It proposes to take up many other programs like construction of stadiums, development of play fields and other infrastructure facilities for its various institutions.
