    Urban population is14,82,718 and density is 854 Industrial area Govindpura with over 1044 SMEs Companies like BHEL, TCS, Genpact, DB Corp. Average family monthly income is Rs.7301/Average expenditure is Rs.5104/month Malls like DB City mall, Ashima lake city mall, Aura Mall, Bharti Walmart, Minal Shopping mall, Metro Plaza exist in city.
