Tools
Tools are the buttons on the
main toolbox Palette in Photoshop.

Tool tips will tell you the


names of the tools.

Many tools have several


different modes.

Click and hold on a tool with an


arrow to reveals the other tool modes.

Filters
Filters are the most
visible and attractive part of Photoshop. Filters provide many different artistic affects. Filters are applied using the Filter menu Normal Paint daubs

Image Size and Resolution


Image Size = Width x Height x Resolution. Resolution = Pixels Per Inch (ppi) Screen Resolution = 72 ppi Print Resolution = 300 ppi Two Places you will find resolution:
File->New Image->Image Size
