Rules and Regulations

1. A team shall consist of two participants from the same college. 2. Participants can submit their application multiple times, only the final submission would be considered.
3. The Application should be mailed to eec@versionnitt.com with the subject title Optimus Prime (College name) - (Topic)'.

4. A team should submit their source code in a zip file with the name of their team. It is very important that the teams submit the source only without the binaries; in case executables are present the email will be rejected by the mail server. 5. The preferred development platform would be using the eclipse IDE. The applications will also be tested on a HTC wildfire phone. 6. The application should not cause any harm to the phone. Failure to adhere to this would lead to the team being disqualified from this event. 7. The use of tools that automatically generate android applications like the Google App Engine and the Titanium framework are prohibited. 8. The Application will be judged on the basis of the user interface, the originality of the idea and the user friendliness. 9. Any decision made by the Event Execution Committee is final and binding it cant be changed. 10. By participating in the event the participants are as sumed to have read the rules and also to agree to them.

Problem Statement ,
These days the focus of the application developers is moving to the mobile devices due to the incredible rise in their popularity and use. The participants are required to come up with an idea for an Android app and to implement it. The finalist would require presenting the App to the judges on stage, explaining their idea and design.
