FREE HIGH HOLIDAY SERVICES AT THE LAUGH FACTORY

[Hollywood, CA] The Laugh Factory, L.A.s premiere comedy club, ushers in the Jewish New Year with its joyous gift to the Jewish community free High Holiday services. This will be the 29th year the Laugh Factory will open its doors to the Jewish community for the Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. Jamie Masada, owner of the Laugh Factory said, Two of the main reasons I love doing this is because it brings so many members of the Jewish community a chance return to their traditions and it gives so many actors, writers and comedians who cant afford to join a temple a place to pray for the holidays. Services are conducted in the Reform Jewish tradition by Rabbi Bob Jacobs. Rosh Hashanah will be celebrated on: Thursday, September 29th 11:00 am until 1:00 pm with refreshments to follow Yom Kippur will begin with the Kol Nidre service on: Friday, October 7th 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Services will continue on the morning of: Saturday, October 8th 11:00 am until 1:00pm Concluding with Neilah service from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. A break-the-fast will follow. No contributions are accepted and tickets are not required. Observers are requested to come early in order to be accommodated indoors. In the event of overflow capacity, The Laugh Factory is determined to include everyone in the services and will provide TV monitors outside on the sidewalk on Laurel Avenue. The Laugh Factory is located at 8001 Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, two blocks west of Fairfax. Limited parking is available around the corner in the Laugh Factory parking lot on Laurel Place. Street parking is available on Laurel Avenue between Sunset and Selma; Selma between Hayworth and Laurel Canyon Blvd; and Laurel Canyon Blvd between Selma and Sunset.
