Coach Cutelli’s Comments:

I must say one of the best races of the year. Natalie PR’ed the course and blew her time out from last year.
Natalie went out fast (I think faster than the time shows). That is direct result of trying to go after
Schabbing. It was an experiment and that is why we run some of these meets; to try new things. I know at
districts you will be able to get that Washington girl. Laura Michel showed a strong run after taking a meet
and some needed days off. You always run great splits. Maybe we could try taking the first mile out a little
faster? We can discuss. Grace without your watch and running buddy (Claire) you still ran a fast time.
Consistently breaking 22 is what I am beginning to like about your running. Laura R. and Maggie P. I said I
wanted a 22 mid from both of you can you did it. Set a goal that by conference you both want to break 22.
Maggie you seem to get faster EVERY race. Keep those shins healthy and keep pushing Laura R. to her
limits. Each of you will make the other so much better. Suzie you have your first varsity notch under your
belt. You ran great and PRed your time from last year; something definitely to be proud of. As you can tell
from team scores Washington is going be a tough group to break. We have plenty of weeks left before
conference, districts, etc. Stay healthy and mentally tough. Half of the battle is thinking that you can do
something.
